The games kick off on Tuesday, September 22, with arrival and self-transport to Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert, California. Please plan your travel so you have enough time to get settled and well-rested for the fun to come.

Additional timing details for meals, activities, and evening events can be found on the Event Information page.

The final level wraps on Friday, September 25, with departures that morning.
While this event is fun and games, the desert is no joke. Plan for hot, sunny days and cooler evenings. Be sure to check the forecast before you travel so you can plan accordingly.
To keep your game from glitching, make sure you have the right inventory for the Palm Springs climate!

The dress code for the event is casual and comfortable. Because desert temperatures fluctuate, we highly recommend packing moisture-wicking layers so you can easily adapt. With sunny daytime conditions likely, don’t forget to pack your essential sun-defending hardware: sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, etc.

To unlock outdoor sessions and get behind the wheel, closed-toe, hard-soled shoes are required.

Speaking of getting behind the wheel, don’t forget to bring your driver’s license! Not only will you need it to participate in the drive, but it will also be required when you fill out your waiver upon arrival.

For our last evening together, we’ll be leaning into neon and nostalgia—80s style! While optional, we’d love if you came with some throwback flair of your own, so feel free to pack something with a retro nod with things like bright colors, bold patterns, vintage-inspired pieces, and statement sneakers.

Your room at Hotel Paseo will be booked on your behalf based on the dates you select during registration, giving you a place to stash your gear and recharge between the action. The room rate is $259 per night, plus applicable taxes and fees.

While we’ll handle the reservation setup, attendees are responsible for hotel room charges, taxes, fees, and incidentals. The hotel will require a credit card at check in.

We’ll share any additional hotel details before the event, so you know the rules of the game ahead of time.

Just don’t ghost the leaderboard! No-shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the event will trigger a $259 fee per hotel policy.

There’s a little free play built into each afternoon, giving you time to refresh and regenerate your health before dinner. Wednesday offers a longer break in the action, with extra time to explore Palm Springs on your own, and we’ll share a few suggested activities to help you make the most of it.
Getting to and from Hotel Paseo is a solo mission. If you’re flying in, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft will likely be the easiest option for most players.

Once the event shifts into motion, any transportation tied to scheduled offsite activities will be communicated along the way.
Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is the closest airport to Hotel Paseo (~26min drive) and will likely be the easiest option for most players.

Depending on flight availability, there are other options, but those will require a longer drive to the hotel.
  • Ontario International Airport (ONT) w/ ~1hr 25 min drive
  • John Wayne Airport (SNA) w/ ~1hr 54min drive
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) w/ ~2hr 22min drive
  • San Diego International Airport (SNA) w/ ~2hr 25min drive

Wherever you land, getting to and from Hotel Paseo is a solo mission, so please select your airport and plan your ground transportation accordingly.
